The featured Marque Class for 2013 will feature one of the most renown and eclectic boat collectors, Alan Furth according to Olson. Amazingly, Alan Furth kept the vast majority of his collection in Lake Tahoe. Since Alan's passing, most of these boats were sold and have since been scattered all over the country. The Lake Tahoe Concours is honored to feature Alan's collection as the 2013 marque class, which will bring many of these classics home. This eccentric collection will truly be a crowd pleaser.

Part of the Entry Application is the requirement for current color photos of your boat, either hard copy on photo paper or high resolution digital. You can either mail or e-mail your photo to the contact information located at the bottom of this page.

These photos and your other documentation will be used to decide if your boat is Concours quality. And these photos will also be used in the 2013 commemorative program. (note: trailer shots and low resolution or poor quality images will not be included in the printed program).

If in doubt, send more than one shot with your application. AND, if your photo has been taken by a professional photographer or publication, be sure to include photo credit/ copyright information.
